MiG-19PM Farmer E Fighter, 1/48 by Trumpeter, Model Airplane

The MiG-19PM is a further modified version of the MiG-19 series of aircraft. Based on the MiG-19s , radar and other equipment were added to enable the fighter, with its main attack missiles, to execute day & night flying missions in poor weather conditions. The maiden flight of the prototype MiG-19PM was in January 1956. In 1957, formal production started with the total number produced in the former Soviet Union reaching about 400.
