This was enough to stifle a fourth-quarter comeback by Tennessee. The Tigers hung on and beat the Vols, 28-21.
vs. Georgia / November 12, 2005 - Auburn traveled to Athens, Ga., for the "Deep South's Oldest Rivalry." This was a hard-fought battle between the two rivals. The break for the Tigers came when Devin Aromashodu threw a fourth-down pass for a 63-yard gain, setting up John Vaughn's 20-yard field goal with six seconds remaining that gave No. 15 Auburn a thrilling 31-30 victory over ninth-ranked Georgia on a Saturday night.
vs. Florida / September 29, 2007 - Auburn visited "The Swamp" for a showdown at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in Gainesville, Fla. Freshman Wes Byrum kicked a 43-yard field goal as time expired to lift the Tigers to a 20-17 victory over the fourth-ranked Gators. The loss snapped an 11-game winning streak for the defending national champions and gave the Gators their first home loss under Coach Urban Meyer, his first since 2005.

Arkansas fought through and won the game 71-63.
vs. LSU / November 23, 2007 - Houston Nutt's last game at Arkansas was memorable with Darren McFadden running for 206 yards and three touchdowns. The Razorbacks and the Tigers battled it out as the game went three overtimes. However, the Tigers missed their two-point conversion, allowing Arkansas to upset No. 1 LSU in Tiger Stadium 50-48.

vs. Florida / December 5, 1992 - Alabama and Florida faced off in Birmingham for the SEC Championship. As the Gators faced 1st-and-10 at their own 21, Crimson Tide cornerback Antonio Langham returned an interception 27 yards for the game-winning score. The play, which came with just 3:16 remaining, earned Langham Most Valuable Player honors. Alabama won the SEC Championship game, 28-21.
vs. Georgia / October 1, 1994 - Senior QB Eric Zeier led the Georgia Bulldogs into Bryant-Denny Stadium with a 3-1 record, looking to upset the No. 10 ranked Crimson Tide. At halftime, the Dawgs had a 21-10 lead. Nearing the fourth quarter, Zeier directed the potent Bulldog offense to a 28-19 lead, passing for 263 yards and scoring four touchdowns. However, there was another hero waiting in the wings to take over by the name of Jay Barker. The senior Bama QB passed for 396 yards on his way to leading Bama to a 29-28 victory.
vs. Arkansas / September 15, 2007 - Arkansas was ranked No. 16 at the time of this clash. Alabama was trying to rebuild a historic program. This was a crucial game early in the season for both programs. After building a 21-point lead, the Crimson Tide ended up being in a battle until the end. John Parker Wilson passed to Matt Caddell for the game winning touchdown with less than 10 seconds remaining to seal the come-from-behind 41-38 victory.
